Finally someone publishes a forecast of where the US is likely to get episodes of smoke and haze throughout August. Many thanks to Accuweather for this- I hope we'll see more of this kind of journalism going forward.

Do you live in the corridor of possible North American smoke? The lull in smoke is a good time to work with your local government and neighbor groups to plan protections for people with health conditions, and order/make air purifiers.
Do you do sports? Be unsurprised by disruptions and plan accommodations for those with asthma.
