Finally had a decent night of sleep, after marinating in my own sweat for a week or so. Got a 18K BTU mini split installed, which cools around a third of the ground floor down to more reasonable temperatures now.
Still waiting for a 12K unit to be installed on the other end of the ground floor, in the kitchen, which is basically just one big oven now. But we need crane guy to bring his crane for A/C guy to do his thing.
Heat brain is a real thing. No amount of hydration is enough to overcome the negative effects of being too hot for extended periods of time.
(Not even speaking of the serious health risks for vulnerable groups.)

Even if it's not HOT HOT, I have a bad habit of going into Margarita-Ville mode and getting absolutely nothing useful done for months 😅
@cjd Yes, it naturally makes you lazier, because that's the healthiest thing for the body to do.
