The Madison Police Department is responding to a shooting on the city's near east side.The shooting occurred in the area of Williamson and S. Baldwin Streets. Multiple streets in this area are blocked off as officers respond. At least one person was injured.More information will be released when available.  

MADISON, Wis. — A man in his 30s died after a police officer shot him during an altercation on Madison's near-east side Wednesday afternoon.
