The £35 AliExpress smoke machine has produced smoke twice, and continues to produce smoke without being on fire.
It may not last long, as compromises must have been made somewhere, but so far, so good.

Is it supposed to make smoke? Every electronic device is a smoke machine if it's designed badly enough.

I guess it is not very different from a vapor clothes iron.

@neil This is like the guy in electricity class that when the teacher said all circuits are not 100% efficient because they waste energy as heat asked: explain then the electric heater.
