@Alice Not an optomotrist, but I would get it rechecked. Given that your prescription has changed over time, but not much, and this seems like a significant change.

But also, so much of the test is based on "is that better or worse" so it can be slightly subjective. A second test might clarify this.

I think you should get several independent eye tests every time, in future, so you can add error bars.

@Alice I'm an ABO certified optician. How old are you? If I'm reading your graph correctly, your OD cylinder went down 1 1/4 diopters. In young people, that can happen. It's unusual, but I have seen it. Your graph shows you tend toward a fair amount of fluctuation from year to year. Something to keep in mind is that things like the amount of water you've been drinking or even how much sugar you've eaten in a day can make your vision read out differently. If you're in doubt, ask your optometrist.

@Alice I’m not an optometrist, but I work for an ophthalmologist. So your picture shows that your right eye astigmatism (cylinder) has decreased 2 diopters if I’m viewing correctly? I think I would have the Rx rechecked.

@Alice I am not an optometrist (sorry) but once had my astigmatism miscorrected so have been very attentive to the possibility that any optometrist may have been less than competent and a big change makes me very likely to ask for a new test

My daughter was also misprescribed recently.
