On the search for a TV series or film to watch that:
A) doesn't have any weapons
B) isn't a romance
C) isn't a horror
D) will leave me feeling joyful and happy.
Seems very hard to find such a thing.

Clangers?
Ivor The Engine?
@quixoticgeek if you can get it, Chris Packhams Evolution is pretty amazing, it's not about what we've done to the planet, its about how six species came to be the amazing creatures they are. https://www.bbc.com/mediacentre/mediapacks/evolution-chris-packham
@benjamincox @WizardOfDocs have run out of all original task master and all NZ task master.
@quixoticgeek Most of the things I can think of fail the first one.
InnerSpace is a great movie... but it fails your first test.
Star Trek TNG and Voyager specific episodes might help. The series as a whole has weapons, but various episodes have none.
@quixoticgeek Two lovely gentle things from Mackenzie Crook:
Detectorists: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4082744/
Small Prophets: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt38504111/
@quixoticgeek Maybe the documentary Good Night Oppy? It is a lovely film about the Opportunity rover on Mars
@quixoticgeek Mr Rogers Neighborhood
@quixoticgeek The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House
It is not a romance but there is a mention of romance. The show is a balm and leaves me feeling at peace.
I believe you can watch it on Netflix.
@quixoticgeek maybe Schitt's Creek?
@quixoticgeek If you enjoy claymation Wallace & Gromit is a classic and there are a ton of movies/short movies/TV shows to keep you going with goofy references to "cheese!!!!" for a while.
@SRLevine in the wrong trousers, feathers mcgar has a gun.
Unfortunately I have watched all of them already. :(
@quixoticgeek Ah, I forgot about that one (it's been many years since I saw most of them). Though unfortunate that you have seen the whole thing already. Good luck finding the perfect show/movie!
@quixoticgeek Maybe Taskmaster? It’s a comedy panel game show, not sure if that’s something you’re looking for.
@rigrig already watched them all.
@quixoticgeek Jeeves and Wooster is balm to me. There is romance happening, but the thing is that the main characters avoid it at all cost.
@quixoticgeek project hail mary Film
@quixoticgeek
Davy Attenborough's stuff?
@EndlessMason whilst often beautifully shot, they just make me depressed about how much of our amazing planet we are destroying. I'm currently watching my way through planet earth 3
@quixoticgeek
It's actually pretty upsetting that i can't think of any media without (at least) armed bad guys
@quixoticgeek Yuru Camp fits all of those.
@adriano what is it ? And where might I find it ?
