Trump has been arguing strenuously for a post-Trump world for a decade now, but only a handful of people have taken him seriously.
@iiradned @pluralistic History will have an easy time tracing America’s rapid decline. Trump abandoned US influence in Asia by skipping conferences, dabbled disastrously in Persian Gulf adventurism, outspent revenues while stoking inflation etc., all the while parading around like he was King Arthur Napoleon or something.
