One aspect of Andy Burnham's continuity with Starmer's administration is the appointment of Miatta Fahnbulleh to replace Ed Miliband as he moves to the Foreign Office.
Fahnbulleh has long advocated for an acceleration of progress towards Net Zero, is an ally of Miliband & as such can be expected to maintain his focus & direction at the Dep. to Energy Security & Net Zero... this 'continuity' looks most welcome; lets hope she can deliver on her previous commitment(s).
@ChrisMayLA6 It’s good to see he’s not simply replacing people simply because he wants to be the new broom. Sounds as if he might be a pragmatic leader.

@ChrisMayLA6 Time, as always, will tell. Always good to be wary of Blairites though.
From what I've seen so far (and I'm admittedly not as in touch with the UK as you guys) Burnham has pretty decisively cleared out the Starmer/Blairites, but taken some care to keep some Labour right-ish representation at the top levels - in line with his 'unity' ambition I guess. Probably wise at this stage.
