@jesse when I started using the model 100, I did not anticipate that I was going to go back to working in cafés. The good news is I can fit it all in my backpack. But barely. Especially since I'm using the big feet, because I was foolishly putting it in my backpack with the plastic extender that tilts it still fastened, and I snapped it off.
Has anyone built an alternative to the wooden case that takes up a little less space and weight? Although then I'd lose all the amazed comments and chances to tell people about you.
On a separate, but related, topic. You should be really proud of the layout choices you made. As I was learning to use the keyboard, I made a lot of changes to what keys did what in an effort to make it more like a standard keyboard. But once I got up to speed typing, I discovered that I completely agree with almost all the layout decisions you made. I've overridden a couple things to make Spanish easier. I moved – and _ up to numlock, and my backspace and space keys double as shift keys. And of course I colored it trans :). But I haven't changed much else on the primary layer. You did a really good job.
