Very slow day at Repair Cafe yesterday, but I jerry-rigged a CD player into working again despite a mechanically-broken lid! Shoved a roll of paper into the button that lid hits. Success!

Lots of lamps came in just as we were understandably missing our licensed electrician. We had to say "next time".

Though we were able to look at a USB powered lamp. The cord fell off, but once we soldered it back on it turned out that the LED burnt out it.
I've never seen a switch on a USB chord before...
