@jonny Matt McMullen, founder of the Realdoll company Abyss Creations, already began moving the company away from high-end silicone sex dolls years ago when it became clear that he didn't stand a chance against Chinese sex doll companies producing the same or even better quality for half the price. He then started the Realbotix line as sex robots, but not enough people wouldn't pay ten thousand dollars for an animatronic head for their Realdolls, and other than heads, the robotic machinery wasn't making enough progress to make human-robot physical interactions sufficiently safe. So McMullen decided to market the stuff as animatronic receptionists etc.

Public education had created a world where the son of a factory worker could become a professional with a degree and a fancy title, so of course it had to be destroyed.

People should have looked at Elon having Grok lobotomised in real time until it vomited white nationalist talking points and told people it believed a male, pasty, overweight and over 50 year old Elon Musk could be the world's top supermodel and recoiled in horror because this is the AI future, where all knowledge can be controlled from a central point and truth isn't a consideration. The fact the initial experiments are happening on underprivileged communities should shock no-one and disgust everyone, and everyone who greenlit this should be banned from touching education anywhere.
