yeah, because the media distorted/latched onto Taco Bell and tarred them when it seems like they were actually being a responsible actor and taking a hit by acting voluntarily and speaking publicly. it does seem to have been lettuce sourced in mexico (by a US-owned conglomerate), but Taco Bell is unfairly blamed
Yes.
My concern however is with what this specific narrative might embolden, from those it at the same time provides the political cover of generational lore.
