Interesting discovery: @overcastfm supports VoiceBoost in Apple CarPlay. The one place where I really need it. Apple Podcasts has Enhance Dialogue, which is less good, but which also isn’t supported in CarPlay which seems… not ideal.
Just this feature may make me switch back to Overcast for my normal listening.
@james @overcastfm Give it a shot! I literally designed Voice Boost for listening to podcasts in cars.
@marcoarment @overcastfm Very noticeable that as podcasts become “audio tracks to shit TV shows” that the audio isn’t being looked-after nearly as much. There are a few recent shows that I simply can’t listen to in the car after the change to adding video (and video I never watch anyway…) Here’s hoping VoiceBoost has that good effect.
