All the tall buildings are public housing. The swimming pool and track are public facilities. Only the low rise single family homes (what we call ‘landed house’) are not public housing

A photo of Nagore Dargah in telok Ayer st. It has traditional Indo-Islamic architecture. There are skyscrapers in the background. Next to the dargah, there is a street procession for the temple of the heavenly Jade emperor, a Taoist festival.
