Wonder if the universe implodes if I put this one into a Mac‽
@thomasfuchs The warning is there because it's a Lisa-format disk. Mac users would try clicking the button to initialize it, causing it to no longer be a Lisa disk.
Thanks! Your post caused me to find a page online that taught me something I didn't know about the need to maintain 5 bit-slip FF bytes in Lisa images: https://lisafaq.sunder.net/lisafaq-hw-media-floppy_dc42.html
Now, feel free to go ahead and test your universe implosion theory. (I guess it really all depends on *which* universe.)
@_the_cloud kind of weird that they didn't add a check for that to Mac OS
@thomasfuchs It wouldn't have been hard, but this is the same company that removed all support for reading MFS and HFS formats because they weren't current anymore. I'm sure MacWorks was seen as a temporary hack to sell off Lisa inventory and move everyone to the Mac. If you already had a Mac, then you didn't need MacWorks.
@thomasfuchs depends how hard you cram it in the usb-c port
Please please please spin up a VM and see what this does
