When a chunk of wood fell out of my utility trailer it created an unplanned job that took ~3 days worth of on-and-off work to redeck it. The next time I change my motor oil I'll waterproof the new deck with the used oil. Tomorrow I'll repack the wheel bearings. Returning from Aztec last month I had to drive through about three miles of a flash flood across US-50 in Western Utah. I've got two more round trips & 3,600 miles to get fully moved. I don't want to have any problems with the trailer.
