Just another testimonial for how great the Corsi Rosenthal Box is for wildfire smoke and particulate pollution. I built one out of extremely silent PC fans and run it on extremely low all year, which generally keeps the AQI here below 5 AQI.
(except when someone makes bacon, in which case, we go into BACON AQI ALERT because the AQI goes up above 250, and either all the fans need to run at full for an hour or I have to vent the house.)
