The MAGA reality: It is okay for Trump to invade Greenland, because in 50 years Denmark could be run by radical mullahs, says Republican senator Eric Schmitt.
Reality: Out of 6 million Danes, less than 200 Muslims have chosen to wear the niqab, and virtually no one wears the burqa, because Muslims in Denmark are not radicalized islamists — something which Eric Schmitt would now, had he read up on Denmark instead of just having strong feelings about my country.

You can openly lie and get in and stay in power. You can destroy global trade, start wars, destroy people, institutions, democracies in many ways - because you can, have the tools and never hesitate to use them.
As long as democratic societies/movements/people don't start to realize how damn serious the #toleranceparadoxon is this will go on and end in the worst dystopia possible.
@randahl The reality is that they want the shipping traffic, mineral rights and offshore drilling opening up due to climate change and the ice melting. 51st State Canada, gotta have Greenland, they want a piece of the action so bad it hurts. They'll make up all kinds of nonsense to make it sound like anything other than the obvious.
