@quixoticgeek The price level to beat I assume would be the 69€ IKEA Förnuftig? The PM2.5 filter for that runs at 5,99.
@patrick yeah. Can all the gubbins around it be made for less than the 63€ remaining.

@quixoticgeek this one kept me breathing during the 2020 bush fires when everything related even tangentially related to air purification had a suppy shock.
There's no particular standard to automotive cabin filters, so if there's a walk-in car parts shop near you, have a look at what shapes they have.
I happened to find a filter that almost exactly matched the 120mm case fans on my pc.
It's not as much filtration as box fans and quad hvac filters, but it kept my bedroom down to comfortable particulate counts, especially useful after co2 got too high and I had to exchange some air.
These are also cheap, so you can build a bunch.
Even a big cabin filter tied to the front of a pedestal fan made a huge dent in particle counts
