It's the third time I am receiving what I can only generously assume to be an automated e-mail from #WSocial trying to convince me, the original founder (and still active advisor and proponent) of one of their competitors, to start posting on their platform.

If that quite lame 4th tier auto letter is any indication of the thought and quality of the platform itself than may it be short lived.
Maybe you should join and post a message thanking them for the personal invitation and the opportunity to post a series of articles detailing the history, development and current usage of Mastodon.
Somebody didn't get the memo that you're so opposed to Bluesky on ethical principle, that you even removed the bridge between your account and ATProto. Why would the WSocial team think they're any better?
I've seen some weird changes to reddit. They seem to be removing community threads that can get them in trouble. I feel the implosion from trickle down insanity and being afraid of what's getting clamped down next. VPN is already on the move out.
