@grishka it actually is quite easier for iOS devs, even 15 years ago when Instagram shipped their first iOS only app.
On iOS you have a solid foundation, with a stable cohort of devices, a dozen or less for each platform.
That's why I respect Android devs like you much more, because it's a wild west of devices and constraints. You are much more cognizant of performance than an iOS dev would be, which often leads to better UX
