@davidgerard he's gained entrance to the very small circle of dudes with whom wall street has a consistent understanding - "you keep lying, number keeps going up". that makes him almost as bulletproof as musk.
if he loses that status, then sure he might be due for a rapid fall. but as we've seen, once capital has decided you're their designated liar you get total immunity for the indefinite future.
