I just realised that I've been using adblock
so consistently, for so long, that | have basically no idea what the average person's experience of the internet is like.

Every now and then | use someone else's device that isn't so locked down. And I'm floored by how useless and annoying the internet is. @LillyHerself same, I am absolutely triggered by the amount of crap we are fed when using the web without ad blockers. I have a physical and audible reaction every time I experience it, and that's the only time I can justify modifying someone's setup without asking.
