I just saw someone in a down jacket and I start to wonder if this is supposed to be a strategy to keep the outside heat away from the body rather than trapping body heat inside...
@KuramaSuben Well, technically if it's hotter than 37 degrees, this could be a strategy?
(seriously, I think that's why the Tuaregs are somewhat heavily dressed in the desert... maybe...)
@David @KuramaSuben I've read that bulky garb in desert heat is also loose-fitting, so that there's good air circulation in there. So a strategy similar to the blower jacket, but without batteries.
