this is ironic to me, because naomi wu (@SexyCyborg) was screaming about this topic for literally years, but then suddenly went quiet. all that was before llms were even in the picture - her whole bag was saying many of these keyboards just in-q-tel style send all your keystrokes upstream

@Viss @tehstu I think there is a direct link between Naomi Wu's activism about keyboard insecurity particularly re Signal, and her disappearance from all (western?) online spaces. I.e. she has been muzzled by the authorities.
She's sorely missed, and I do hope she's doing OK somehow.
