For the past months I have been working on GitPub: a collaborative web to print tool based on git. Using GitPub allows to turn (markdown and html) files from a local git repository into a printable pdf, including the files metadata such as commit messages.

I am starting to collect different forms of documentation on this website: https://gitpub.directory/

We used GitPub to make this years @xpub graduation catalog "Turning it off and on again: a collective glossary".
I first tested the tool in a workshop that was part of Art Meets Radical Openness with @servus earlier this year where we looked at how git metadata coordinates collaborative editing processes and what it means to render this part of work visible. I later used GitPub to publish a project log tracing the unrecorded tasks, confusions and conversations of making the tool.
