I completely agree with the sentiment, and requested/received a refund from Mullvad for my subscription after their co-founder's donation came to light.

However, I don't entirely understand why you say "to use is to support"?

I believe the Mullvad software is an exceptional open source VPN, & while I won't be giving the organisation any more money while Berntsson remains a beneficiary, what is the harm you see if Mozilla users use it for free?

I was surprised to see that VPN feature pop up in Firefox, and wouldn't trust it at all!

Sad that Mullvad's gotten that way but not really surprising. The whole sitch made me yawn cos they were being too nice it was obvious.

I was kinda surpised a bit from a ton of really smart people who have used and trusted the mullvad vpn thing. I'm way dumber that most people here but I could smell the stink of that mole from a mile away. I guess that was a good lessen not to put your trust fully on something. Trust yer gut and you'll be fine.

The free built-in VPN is currently rolling out as a beta to Firefox desktop users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and France, with plans to expand to additional countries coming soon over the next several releases.

@JulianOliver @berbatsson Mullvad is one of the best no logs VPNs that care about users privacy. Do you suggest people use expressVPN or the several others owned by Israeli companies which (Israel) are well documented to have some of the best spy’s in the world.

@JulianOliver mozilla vpn =/= firefox vpn, its confusing but they are distinct products. As far as I am aware, Firefox vpn is not using mullvad.
