Further UX delights I am finding in @phanpy : in the mobile client, I have to tap on (open) an individual post to do something about it, including like or boost.
Is that on purpose? If so, there is a very canny design mind at work here, with some great wetware engineering know-how.
If it’s by accident : great instinct, DON’T Change!
It’s a perfect amount of friction introduced to slow down the pathway from perception to reaction, and let the communication in between have a moment to get its breath.
We all benefit from a slightly slower scroll through our connections. You have to think about the meaning of each tap just a little bit more.
