@GrimmReality It’s not about politics though. They were genuinely terrible people. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Personally I’m naive af and believe in limitless human potential for change and growth. Some people are just too rotten for this to work. I say good riddance
I'm also more of a "good riddance" type personally,
but for those who want to celebrate, the logic is very hard to argue with:
If the world becomes safer for an entire class of people or (even a single person) when a person dies- that is something valid to celebrate.
@GrimmReality Ask if they would have celebrated if they had lived during World War II and learned that Hitler had died.
Ask them that. If they would have, then they don't have a leg to stand on and should stfu. If they wouldn't have, then explain that they're monsters too and we're all gonna celebrate when they die.
