Thinking Rubio laughably overestimates the ability of Trump’s USA to influence the world. I hope every government round the world responds to pressure with “Fuck you. Make me.”

@timbray Trump has in fact diminished the ability of the US to influence democratic govts around the world. The reputation of the US has been damaged for a long time to come.
@michaelormsby A really long time. After Trump's gone the rest of the world will be left thinking “they elected that guy twice, let's assume they're going to toss up some other toxic ignoramus any decade now.”
@timbray How does he plan to dismantle something the US never signed on to or ever participated in? I doubt an attempt to invade the Netherlands would go well.

@timbray That would require politicians to have courage. For example our PM is still looking for his elbows in "Elbows up". As for courage "cou" is silent.
I don't feel optimistic at all.
