Wellllllll, a mixed result.

On the one hand, wife was delighted that she wasn't gonna have to do dinner tonight.

On the other hand, tho I looked for the old eggs in the fridge, they were not in the standard location, so I used some more fresh eggs.

Peeling fresh hard-boiled eggs just *sucks*, and I lost way more whites than usual.

I lost so many whites during the peeling, I almost bailed on deviling and went with egg salad.

Then I remembered:

"I did not enjoy the deviled eggs because they were overstuffed and the shells were somewhat raggedy," said no one, ever.
