Interview #1 done for Space.com
Email interviews count, right? Interview #2 done for Newsweek.
Interview #3 done for Scientific American
Do talks count? I just gave a lunchtime talk for Mission Control - I think that's the first time I've given a talk to a satellite building company. My main message (deliver your services with fewer satellites, and make those satellites last as long as possible) was definitely heard, and repeated back to me by the CEO! So that's satisfying. https://missioncontrolspace.com/about/
Hilariously, this talk happened because an employee read the cow-culation paper and loved it! https://arxiv.org/pdf/2603.29324
Oh gosh why did I say I would give ANOTHER talk today.... this one is for the local Science Centre, mostly for older retired folks who like science but are not scientists. In yesterday's talk it was a refreshing change to not have to explain orbits - those satellite engineers know how that works, probably better than me! But I will definitely need explain orbits today... Luckily I have a longer time limit for the talk so I'll just add back in a bunch of slides I hid.
Excellent! You're getting through them 👏👍
@sundogplanets You're *killin'* it, Sam.
@sundogplanets yes but they must have two typos, one blatant misspelling and one grammatical clanger for it to count to your five a day
@sundogplanets They absolutely do!
