New_ Public’s @blaine reveals to @rabble how Twitter was almost decentralized — like Bluesky or Mastodon — way back in 2008.

We're building for community first, and are committed to figuring out what "decentralization" even means for small local communities. We have lots of ideas and hopes and dreams, but we're focusing on getting the pro-social interaction design right, first.
