YouTube: “if you can’t do this, you’re not fit even if you look it”
Me: ok *clicks away*
Why do people think belittling others is a brilliant marketing strategy? (It’s not)

@farah
It works by getting you to click on the video. I'd say that was a successful one. Not good in any way what so ever but they get human curiosity / noseyness.
@farah i will block channels that clickbait like that
@Kierkegaanks YouTube algorithm is a mess! I barely watch procreate tutorials, some house renovations, Kirby and cat videos, and it keeps recommending me things like Alton brown and other random shit
@Kierkegaanks He’s a fat phobic, ableist, right winger. I’ve lost every respect for him
@farah nobody measures up, and i watch him cook without being influenced by his behavioral quirks
If you bully/ belittle/ harangue me, I am not buying/using your product, no matter how good you say you are
@farah I do stretching workouts on YouTube with a guy called Run Better With Ash. In almost every video his mantra is: “Don’t judge your body against my body. If it’s too hard just ease off.”
