Urgh. The registrar I'm about to transfer two of my domains to has an expired certificate. I hope that resolves by tomorrow, they're to be transferred on the 14th.
Yay, registrar certificate issue resolved.
The domains are still in "pending approval" state, and clicking "Continue" results in an error. I think I'll drop them a mail.
Sent them an email, using the contact form on their website, using the same email I registered with (and I was logged in anyway). Got an email that says they were not able to link the request to an account.
Huh. Why, I wonder?
Clicked the "Confirm email" button anyway.
I'm giving this registrar a bit of leniency, because they have programming socks and no ai banners on their landing page. I'm easy to please.
...and now the registrar's site doesn't load. Fun.
This is getting to a point where programmer socks and no-ai badges or not, I might look elsewhere soon.
registrar's site loads, domains still in pending approval state, continue still doesn't work, they have not responded to my email yet.
Not sure what to do. I can try canceling it on the Hetzner side, and figure out how to get my money back, or let it play out, and transfer out of the new registrar into a third one at the first opportunity.
But me staying here is quite unlikely at this point. A shame.
