Flux version 1.2 is finally here, and if you want stability and speed, here it is.
Redacted changelog below(there are too many changes to list here)
# Changes in version 1.2
* Selecting a podcast feed no longer blocks the UI while loading its description, descriptions now load in the background and appear once ready.
* Fixed a bug where rapidly selecting different feeds could trigger duplicate description fetches.
* Improved podcast HTML description rendering, paragraphs and line breaks are now preserved instead of being collapsed into a single line.
* Episode lists now load instantly, even for podcasts with huge back catalogs, episodes are cached locally and only the visible rows are rendered.
* Added a "Download Feed" button to mass-download an entire podcast's episodes at once.
* Added a Download Manager window that shows every active and finished download (podcasts, AudioVault) with title, source, status, progress, speed, size, and time left, plus cancel, pause/resume, retry, and open-location actions. Batch downloads are grouped into a single "Mass Download" row with combined progress.
* Refresh notifications now tell you which podcast(s) received new episodes instead of just a number.
* Fixed a bug where subscribing to a community podcast could corrupt your podcast list.
* The episode dialog now respects your "auto-open player" setting instead of always opening the player automatically.
* Fixed a bug where deleting a radio station could cause a later station to silently overwrite it.
* Fixed an occasional crash immediately after a background task (such as a podcast refresh or download) finished successfully.
* Added TuneIn as a new tab alongside internet radio, with an option to enable or disable it in Settings.
* Removed the YouTube tab. Apple's packaging and code-signing requirements made it increasingly difficult to keep YouTube working reliably on macOS, and we'd rather offer one consistent, unified experience across Windows and Mac than a feature that only works well on one platform.
* Fixed downloads failing on Windows when a podcast episode's folder and file name together exceeded the 260-character path limit; long file names are now shortened automatically to fit.
* Podcast episodes you stream instead of download can now be seeked, the same as downloaded episodes, when the podcast's server supports it.
* Updated Spotify SDK to match latest requirements.
* Fixed Spotify no longer reconnecting automatically after being signed in for a long time; Flux now detects an expired Spotify session and prompts you to reconnect instead of failing silently.
* Fixed global play/pause, skip, and volume shortcuts not controlling Spotify when playback was started outside of Flux (e.g. from your phone or the Spotify app).
