Hey, vis.social!
Hmmm...so, I keep vis.social running with a wonderful group of community volunteers who do most of the moderation on our little community server.
I've also been dealing with Cancer shit for the last few years. I had a big scare, earlier this year, that my initial colon cancer had moved to another organ.
6 months later, and tons of tests and scans. it seems that I'm free and clear. Healthy!
During all of this, I've been thinking about a lot of things....
...I've come through this with a lot of questions about how I want to spend my life.
I'm more than ever devoted to distributed socials like Mastodon and the greater Fediverse!
And I'm more devoted than ever to creativity and curiosity. Art and Science!
And I absolutely refuse to subsidize big-tech AI-Hype and slop.
I dedicate myself even more to creativity and curiosity of humanity. And being as good of a person as my stubborn self can manage.
I want to turn my anger into joy and justice
