I think the most tragic NZ political tagedy of my life so far was the incredibly sad death of Efeso Collins.
He was so young and so vital to spreading the Greens kaupapa.
I supported and got to know Efeso when he was running for Tāmaki Makaurau Mayor and incredibly pleased to see his transformation into a man who had overcome his learned prejudices and prepared to pave a way for others.
@jeremy_pm that was tragic. I’m glad he has people to speak of him after passing.
