My upcoming schedule:
It should take me 4 more days to finish skimming BSNES.
After that I'll take a full break from writing new stuff on how existing software works or how I'd reimplement it, so I can organize it to be published.
By the time I'm done there I should have been ready to publish something from my backlog. As you see: I'm working on it!
Afterwords I'll study the commandline tools for installing & managing GRUB, followed by how Linux itself boots up.

After that break I'll also start exploring a new hypothetical: A Video Workstation!
I'll be designing it around compute-intensive algorithms, rather than existing languages or protocols. Which despite requiring higher specs will prove interesting!
And once I've studied an OS component without an obvious kernel-side equivalent, I'll study GameTank's (scheduling as if it were an early 1990s console is as good a fit as any!) emulator. Followed by the mid-1990s "5th generation".
