I want to share something that happened this week at camp. We have a mixed gender scout troop (basically, if you have (or don’t) a gender, you are welcome). Five of my scouts went on a whitewater rafting trip, a 2 hour bus ride away. On the way up, a young scout with some impulse control issues from another troop was misbehaving. My scouts tried to stop him and alert adults who eventually separated him, and gave him more supervision.
