Apparently linoleum is currently positioning itself as the most "sustainable" flooring option. Huh.
@kmherkes I believe linoleum is called that because it's made from linseed oil. Dunno if that's still true, but that would make it more environmentally friendly than most plastics.

It's been around a long time.
Linseed oil is fascinating on its own, what with its tendency to spontaneously combust and all.
