I will never understand this extreme hate some people have against schools for the blind, calling them braille jails and all these kinds. Yes, these things also have their issues. But the inklusive system (at least in case of Germany) is extremely far from perfect. Also it’s bogus to claim that all people that are better socially in blind schools automatically won’t get far in the real world, it fully depends on what you make out of the help you are given. I of course don’t know the situation in other countries, but for example, you can blame the Blista Marburg for a lot of different things (a lot of which only pass because todays people don’t speak out against bullshit anymore but that’s a different story) but definitely you can’t blame them for being a social rotting person.
