I have reached the stage of the heatwave where I plug in the air fryer outside so I don’t make the house hotter by cooking.
Big Green Egg gets a lot of use this time of year. I'm trying to figure out how to bake bread with it.
@david_chisnall ...and it's only after the 2nd perfectly crispy batch of air fried food that you noticed that the air frier wasn't properly plugged and the heating element wasn't even on this whole time...
@david_chisnall some places in Asia have outside kitchens, I think they have it right
@david_chisnall
Soon you won't even need the air fryer
@david_chisnall no wonder it's hot, y'all are out there frying the air!
@david_chisnall One of the advantages of an outside socket is the breadmaker can run outside overnight and avoid adding to the warmth of the house.
We got motorised awnings installed a few years back and the installers wanted to just drill a hole through the wall and plug it into a socket. I got an electrician to come and give them a junction box to connect it to and, since they were running mains outside, install a couple of sockets in a waterproof box. I haven’t used them much (except for mowing the lawn) but they’re great for this kind of thing.
@david_chisnall yes we've been on the picky bits dinners this week to avoid generating heat in the kitchen. I briefly lost the battle and let my wife boil some water for pasta
