I'm all for safer roads, but where is this going? Will we have mandatory in-house cameras soon to monitor behavior?
Why aren't we investing more in things that also would make traffic safer?
- Why aren't we improving driver ed? (In many US states you can essentially do a multi-choice test and drive once around the block and you get a license.)
- Why aren't we going after dangerous drivers more?
- Why aren't we incentivizing smaller cars?
- Why aren't we building more public transport infrastructure so people don't need cars in the first place (or at least it reduces the need for it)?
