The most interesting thing about this story is that the Maine AG's shutdown of its breach reports site did not totally cut off access to breach reports. The records themselves are still obtainable from the office. Bleeping Computer even printed a screenshot. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/assuranceamerica-data-breach-exposes-records-of-69-million-drivers/
There's been *yet another* majot breach of U.S. driver's license numbers. Insurance giant AssuranceAmerica confirmed a breach affecting over 6.9 million people, making it the largest known spill of Americans’ driver’s license data this year.
