@cstross It is *amazing*. We went with our (then) 3yo who loves to climb. Huge outdoor pirate ships, slides, etc and then a gigantic multi-storey indoor playspace -- with a biergarten in the center.

There is nothing more German than to relax and drink a half-liter from the child panopticon.

The whole thing would be a liability nightmare in the US, but I assume any accident there would result in profuse apologies from the parent, rather than a lawsuit. (Why we can't have nice things.)
