@mekkaokereke I remember reading a long piece about flavorists— the people who create synthetic flavorings and as a result can name three chemicals in every bite of a piece of fruit— and one of them spoke of Red Bull with professional admiration. The company invented a flavor so artificial it resembles nothing else on earth. And even though it's weird and nasty, it became the template that other hyper-caffeinated sodas have to imitate.

@mekkaokereke I love redbull! 😂 I wish there was a lower caffeine option. The Juneberry flavor is fantastic, too. Lime is one of my favorite flavors, so I'll def check out it. 😝

@mekkaokereke I think Red Bull tastes quite pleasant, but I’m absolutely perplexed by monster’s popularity. It tastes how I would imagine battery acid to taste.

@mekkaokereke I figure they're playing to the "tastes bad == powerful" cultural attitude.
