What’s a thing you recently did/built/participated in/read/watched/enjoyed that’s not terrible?
@thomasfuchs I recorded some audio tracks for this live event featuring experimental/synthesizer music. Note that Bob Ostertag's performance is not included on the archive, by his request.

@thomasfuchs Ben Lerner's Transcription was a thought provoking quick read recently :)
@thomasfuchs I have inexplicably found myself down the “restoring a derelict Irish cottage” YouTube rabbit hole. The Irish Homestead and Camper Vibe are my two favorites. I’m sure it has nothing to do with a sudden desire to escape from modernity.
@thomasfuchs Beach Volleyball
@thomasfuchs We just built the youngest her own PC tower. She's super excited.
@thomasfuchs I built a door for my back porch and hung it, created a mushroom garden, am reading Inventing the Renaissance by Ada Palmer, just finished the surprisingly good Among Us show, and have played quite a few video games.
@thomasfuchs I played Thank Goodness You're Here recently, which might be one of the silliest, funniest, most British video games I've ever played. Highly recommended as a light fun soul cleanse.
@thomasfuchs Watched a movie called The Wrath of Becky, a nice, quick horror/thriller/comedy about a sixteen year old girl who goes all Home Alone on a MAGA militia (very Proud Boys themed). A lot of fun! Sean William Scott in a non-comedic role for a change.
@thomasfuchs just got back from a lecture at the library entitled Dino Wars! about two assholes who hated each other and dug up a lot of fossils. Surprisingly entertaining!
@thomasfuchs
Did / Created - geometric art (see below, unfinished)
Participate in - anti-fascist rally
Read - “One Day Everyone Will Have Been Against This” Tough read, but glad I am.
Watched - “Hacks,” side-splittingly hilarious.
Enjoyed - Silent time in the woods.
@thomasfuchs I've been road tripping a bunch of the past couple months listening to the Dungeon Crawler Carl books. I don't know how much I'd enjoy reading them on the page, but the audiobooks are fantastic.
@thomasfuchs
I have been rereading discworld but that feels cheating
@thomasfuchs Elle, the Legally Blonde prequel set in 1995 Seattle, is surprisingly good, despite the constant product placement for Starbucks. Otherwise I'm rereading the Murderbot Diaries and rewatching The Expanse.
