@davidgerard I think the thing you slightly missed there about Claude and friends is that nowadays they DO actually work, a lot of the time. They can produce quite reasonable code now.
But if anything, that makes them MORE dangerous. Because they don't ALWAYS do. But they do so often enough that people absolutely let their guard down, and stop reading what they output. Because, as you say, you grow tired of that really quick. And if it is good most of the time, even more so.
