@stefano Great combo, I miss the Usenet of yore. I was always more of a tin user than an slrn user though...
FWIW, one of my favourite online moments was when @SteveBellovin replied to a post of mine on one of the NetBSD mailing lists.
slrn sounds familiar. Back in the late 90s I used usenet. The first time was when I needed info to get my XFree86 working on my first Linux install. I used slrn because console was all I had. I don't remember how I learned to use it and don't know how now. I don't recall the rest of what you have there. I do have the gray hairs.

@stefano i never used suck, since i got my incoming feed over UUCP...
